VALSHEDA 39.4M J CLASS YACHT 1933

Designed by Charles Nicholson and built by Camper & Nicholson in 1933 inGosport for Mr W.L. Stephenson, Owner of Woolworth chain of shops. In her time she won more than 40 races and had an outstanding record of racing success. She represented the most advanced technical designs of her era.By 1937 she was laid up in a mud berth on the Hamble and became derelict. This unique yacht was rescued in 1984 by Terry Brabant, who refitted her primarily for charter work with a new mast and interior.
